Peelable Body Armor safeguards your vehicle's OEM or factory finish with a robust, durable protective coating. It lays down a textured surface that shields against scratches, abrasions, light impacts, and staining — keeping your ride looking pristine even in rugged conditions. Think of it like a bedliner for your whole vehicle, but fully removable.
What it protects against
- Scratches & abrasions from trails, gear, gravel and daily wear
- Light impacts and chips that would otherwise reach your paint
- Staining from mud, grime and the elements
- The Lowcountry's sun and salt air — a sacrificial layer that takes the hit instead of your finish
Because it's peelable, you get all that protection without permanently altering your paint or hurting resale value. When you want a change or a refresh, it comes off clean.
Built for any ride
Body Armor is ideal for vehicles that work and play hard: cars, trucks, SUVs, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides and more. If it sees trails, job sites, boat ramps or beach runs around Charleston, this is the coating that keeps it looking sharp.
How it's applied
We spray Body Armor over a color-matched, peelable base of Plasti Dip Spray, using the DYC G-Force Sprayer with the dedicated Body Armor adapter. That base-plus-armor build delivers maximum protection while keeping your original paint fully intact underneath — the whole system peels away cleanly when you're ready.
Colors & pricing
Peelable Body Armor comes in 12 striking colors. It's a premium protective finish — an extra $1,000 on top of a standard color job.
Good to know: Body Armor is its own protective top finish, so it isn't combined with Ultra High Gloss or Dip Armor. Pick Body Armor when toughness and grip matter most; choose Dip Armor or Ultra High Gloss when you're after a slick, glossy show finish.
Body Armor vs. our other top coats
- Peelable Body Armor — textured, rugged, bedliner-like protection. Best for off-road, work and adventure rigs.
- Dip Armor™ — hard, slick, satin paint-like feel that resists chemicals and stains.
- Ultra High Gloss — deep, wet-look show shine.
